Appetizer Meatballs

My friend Diane made these for a small group get-together when we lived in Columbus and I just HAD to get the recipe. I think these are some of the BEST meatballs ever!

recipe courtesy of Brook via Diane

Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 egg lightly beaten
1/2 cup soft bread crumbs (I use Panko)
1/4 cup milk
1/4 c finely chopped onion (I use onion powder)
1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp salt

Sauce:
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 cup chopped onion (I use onion powder)
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup vinegar
1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/8 tsp pepper
Directions:
Combine first 7 ingredients; mix well. Shape into 1 inch balls. In a skillet over med. heat, brown meatballs, drain. Place in a 2 1/2 qt baking dish. Combine sauce ingredients. Pour over meatballs. Bake uncovered at 350 for 50-60 minutes or until meatballs are done. (I cover the last 15 minutes...or move to the crockpot)
