October is Breast Cancer Awareness month.  I got my mammogram last Friday.  You know, they've come a long way and mammograms aren't nearly as "squishy" as they used to be.  Had a great tech who made very easy! 

I lost my mom to Breast Cancer when she was 57.  She never got to see her grandchildren.  I miss her humor, love and wisdom daily.  Had she been to her doctor sooner, there's a very good chance she'd still be here. 

TELL the women you love that you love them and REMIND them to do a monthly self-exam and get in to "get squished".  The world is a better place with more moms in it!
