- Ingredients:
- Patty Burgers 1/4 inch thick
Hamburger Buns.
Your choice of fixins.
- Directions:
- With your thumb, on one side, press into the middle of the burger. This will make a small indentation in the middle of the burger about 1/4 of the way down.
Lightly baste both sides of the burger with vegetable oil.
Place burger on the grill, close lid, and cook one side of the burger for 3 minutes. (this is not a typo) Set a timer to make sure.
Flip burgers and set timer for another 7-8 minutes. This will pretty much guarantee a burger cooked 'medium'. (pink in the middle) Careful not to overcook your burger!
Immediately plate the burger, and cover with aluminum foil for 5 minutes creating a 'tent' over the plate. (The burgers will keep cooking a little while underneath the foil).
Serve up the burgers and enjoy!
