September 6 kicks off Epic Movie for the Flick’s Family Film Festival at Celebration Cinema. Kids 12 and under receive free admission and adult tickets are just $4.
Celebration on the Grand
September 6-7 bring the whole family out for the Celebration on the Grand. Live music, fireworks, and food from the best spots in Grand Rapids!
At 4:00 p.m. on September 7 the Ducky Dash will be making its second appearance at the Celebration on the Grand. Share the excitement as 2,000 rubber ducks swim down the Grand River for a chance to be first to the finish line. The cost is $1 per duck or $4 for 5 ducks.
Sportsmen for Youth Organization - Annual Youth Day
Free admission to this event on September 7 in Muskegon. Sportsmen for Youth Day is designed to provide young people age 18 and under with the opportunity to try activities including archery, shooting sports, fishing and many others. The day will also feature prize drawings and lunch.
Discover the Dinosaurs
Discover the Dinosaurs is for the entire family, and especially kids, to explore the mystery of pre-historic life in an environment of learning, discovery, and fun. Check it out at the Deltaplex on September 7.
Parkview Muddy Trail Run
September 7 is the Parkview Muddy Trail Run. It’s a muddy obstacle-filled 5K run, there will also be a rock wall and a zip line. Proceeds go to JA and Boy Scout programs.
Grand Rapids Hispanic Festival
On September 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m. come out and celebrate the cultural heritage of the Hispanic community through entertainment, food, art and products from Latin, Central and South America.
Grand Parents Day at the John Ball Zoo
On September 8 grandparents get free admission and a visit to the hospitality tent when they bring their AARP card.
Meijer Family Day
September 8 is Family Day presented by Meijer at the Allegan County Fair. Come out to the fairgrounds to enjoy the family fun activities!
