National Learn to Row Day

Grand Rapids Boathouse
The Grand Rapids Rowing Association is hosting National Learn to Row Day at the Grand Rapids Boathouse. Try your hand at rowing and tour the facility. Cost is $3 in advance or $5 the day of.
Coast Guard 9th Annual Open House
Saturday, June 1
Holland Coast Guard Station
Tour the station and learn more about water safety at the Coast Guard station’s annual Open House. The station is located at 2388 Ottawa Beach Rd.
Construction Truck Petting Zoo
Saturday, June 1 from 10 a.m.- 2 p.m.
Outside the Grand Rapids Public Library Main Branch
Several cities have teamed up to bring their big rigs downtown Grand Rapids. Kids can get up close with large construction trucks and get information about the Summer Reading Club inside the library.

Downtown Market – Grand Rapids
Fresh produce, delicious baked goods, gourmet meats ….there are over 80 vendors out at the new Downtown Market selling local products. Bring the kids and shop the market together.
Dairy Discovery Day

Swisslane Farms – Alto
June is National Dairy Month! Celebrate with Dairy Discovery Days at Swisslane Farms in Alto. The event includes tours, bottle feeding baby calves, hayrides and more. Cost is $8 per person.
