The Whitecaps are in town all weekend with home games at Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Sunday is Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital Family Day, so the first 1,000 kids eat free! Families are welcome to come early and get player autographs and play catch out on the field.

25th Annual Great Lakes Kite Festival

Enjoy a day at the beach as the sky is filled with colorful kites of all types and sizes. World-famous stunt kite fliers perform to music and hundreds of kites fill the sky. Bring your own kite to fly or test fly some of the year's newest kites on one of the manufacturers' fields.

Bring out the family and engage with Master Naturalists who will be staffed at different stations along the trail to talk about fish, birds, plants, wetlands and reptiles. This is a wonderful way to get kids outside to explore and get in touch with nature.

Running of the Lambs
Saturday, May 18 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Come explore the Critter Barn and see baby animals close up. Bottle feed a baby lamb and watch them run in the pasture for the first time. The babies will be released into the pasture at 11 am and again at 2 pm.

History of Barbie Afternoon Tea
