Here are a few events you might want to check out for July 13-14

Head to some Michigan beaches like Grand Haven, South Haven, or Oval Beach in Saugatuck for a day of swimming, sand castle-building, dune climbing and more.
Celebrate Gerald R. Ford’s 100th birthday at the “Growing Up Grand” exhibit at the Gerald R. Ford Museum. Educational and breathtaking, it is a great destination for any family. Admission is $7.00 for adults, $6.00 for senior citizens and military service members, $5.00 for college students with ID, $3.00 for youth ages 6-18, and free for children under the age of 5. Free parking is available.
19th Annual Lowell Riverwalk Festival  July 11-13

Kid FUNfari July 13
Binder Park Zoo
Healthy kids, happy families. This all new children’s event will focus on getting kids active in a variety of fun ways. The event will be held inside the Zoo from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and is included with admission. All children entering the Zoo will receive a reusable “goodie bag” and can participate in several fun activities and demonstrations throughout the Zoo aimed at getting kids healthy, active, and outdoors.
