Free Family Health and Fitness Day

Free demonstrations and displays for people of all ages from 9:00 a.m. until 1;00 p.m. There will be tons of children’s activities including an obstacle course, bike rodeo, and inflatables. E.S.C.A.P.E. Fire Safety’s Kids Fire Prevention smoke house and Jake the Fire Safety Dog will be teaching families how to stay safe and prevent home fires along with our friends from the Marshall Fire Department!
Mudfest at Kalamazoo Nature Center

What’s more fun than getting covered in mud on a warm summer day? The Kalamazoo Nature Center loves mud! Now is the chance for everyone to feel like a kid again at Mud Fest on August 24 from 1:00-4:00 p.m. Play in the giant mud pit and obstacle course, zoom down the giant slip-n-slide, and try your hand at natural art and mud stone face paint. Explore the new Natural Play Area and learn all about worm composting. There will be live animal demonstrations and music to enjoy while eating yummy MUD Pies.
All Day with the Arts at the GRAM
With a variety of offerings designed for young visitors and family members of all ages, All Day with the Arts includes hands-on art projects in our education center, kid-friendly tours, and sketching in the galleries. Free Family Activity Guides are also available and allow visitors to become detectives while exploring the galleries. Saturdays starting at10 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. Free with museum admission.

Grand Rapids Greek Festival
Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church is thrilled to bring Grand Rapids an event celebrating the culture and traditions of the Greek Orthodox people all weekend long. They will be sharing music, dances, gifts and of course authentic and delicious Greek food! Opa!
Hudsonville Community Fair
Admission is just $3 for adults (kids under 12 are free) to enter the "Biggest Little Fair in the State". Highlights include the midway carnival, livestock auction, 4-H shows, NTPA tractor pull, off-road derbys, motor-cross, lawnmower races and live entertainment.
36th Annual Hastings Summerfest
Annual summer festival held in Downtown Hastings. Event features arts and crafts vendors on the courthouse lawn, concessions, free trolley rides, children's activities, a tennis tournament, softball tournament, sand volleyball, 3-on-3 basketball, 10K/5K run, 3-on-3 soccer, roller hockey tournament, weight lifting contest, parade, car show, motorcycle show, live entertainment and a refreshment tent.
28th Street Metro Cruise
Fifteen miles of car events along historic 28th Street in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Epicenter at Rogers Plaza Mall in Wyoming (972 Rogers Plaza SW). The Metro Cruise® has grown through the years to become West Michigan’s premiere auto event, attracting more than 200,000 visitors and over 15,000 vehicles. Planned events include “Metro Cruise® Live” - two nights of live-televised, rarely seen autos, the fan-favorite Pinup Girl Contest, a Sock Hop with live music, the annual Swap Meet, a DJ on premise, and food vendors.
